The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star’s charity, Kandi Cares, gifted the lucky families over 300 gifts on December 23.

“My foundation @KandiCares made Christmas Miracles come to life with our first ever Ultimate Christmas Wish,” the Xscape singer, 41, shared on Instagram with a short video of the day of giving. “Originally we were only going to select one family but we were so torn between all the nominations that we selected six.”

The chosen families in need were surprised when Burruss and her jolly elves arrived on their door steps carrying clothing, shoes, Xbox game systems, new beds, tablets, laptops and other toys.

“There’s no better feeling than being able to give and to see the smiles on the kid’s faces I will cherish this day forever,” she added.

The Kandi Cares School Assistance Scholarship Program awards a one-time scholarship for tuition, housing, books, or other school related expenses to selected applicants attending a tuition-based high school, college or vocational/trade school.

To be eligible you must meet certain minimum requirements listed below:

• Full-Time Student (Must be Registered in an Academic Institution by the Date of Application)
• Applicants Must Have a Minimum GPA of 3.3
• Applicants Must Be a Single Parent or Child of a Single Parent Home
• Exhibit Strong Leadership and Community Involvement
• Exhibit Financial Need

So it wasn’t surprising that Macy’s collaborated with Burruss’ foundation, Kandi Cares, for a back-to-school event. Dozens of families came out to take pictures with Burruss and soak up the love she, her husband Todd, baby Ace and Riley had to share; as her entire family was there participating in the back-to-school drive with Kandi Cares and Macy’s.

Macy’s has great deals for the entire family. From men’s and women’s clothing to a fantastic children’s and junior department, and even an excellent home furnishing and home goods section, Macy’s has something for the entire family.

Burruss brought out her team: the lovely host-/entertainer QT Jazz;, and her two singing groups, LOUD and Glamour. It was a wonderful Saturday afternoon of entertainment and family fun.

Christmas is just days away, so “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss Tucker decided to bring Christmas a little early for a few single mothers in need.

Yesterday, the pregnant mom-to-be (again) hosted a baby shower for 10 single new moms and expectant moms. She gifted the ladies with tons of toys, clothes and items they’ll need for their new bundle of joys. Aww…how sweet. They played baby shower games, ate good food and had loads of fun.

Kandi Burruss and the Atlanta Dream’s Delisha Milton Jones of the WNBA are the walking embodiment of a philosophy that has doubtlessly replenished the Russell empire on continuum. In fact, Burruss ritually prays on it — and her life full of blessings is a reflection of this mantra.

Burruss and Milton Jones collaborated for a weekend of holiday giving as the two entities hooked up with CHOA Holiday Party to provide food, presents, activities and cheer for patients and their families at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta at Egleston on Thursday and then Friday at the Sweet Georgia Juke Joint.

The event was part of the Season of Giving initiative, in which the Dream is participating in numerous community service events throughout the metro Atlanta area during the holiday season. The Dream and Kandi Cares are also partnering on a Blankets of Dreams: Winter Wear Drive presented by RMC Movers, providing gloves, scarves, hats, coats, socks and blankets to Atlanta Mission’s My Sister’s House.
